Multiplication Table of 3

3 Times Table

Learning the 3 times table is an important step in building a strong foundation in multiplication. Remember that multiplying by \(3\) simply means adding three repeatedly. For example, \(3\) times \(2\) is the same as adding \(3\) twice: \(3 + 3 = 6\). Similarly, \(3\) times \(4\) is like adding \(3\) four times: \(3 + 3 + 3 + 3 = 12\). So, when you’re working with the 3 times table, you’re essentially counting by threes.

One of the interesting things about the 3 times table is that all the results are multiples of \(3\). This means they share a common property — divisibility by \(3\).
